Head of Brand & Marketing

📍 Helsinki (Hybrid)

We are looking for a Head of Brand & Marketing to take full ownership of Gymnation’s marketing and act as a true growth engine for the brand. This role is not about fine-tuning what already exists – it’s about taking Gymnation’s marketing and brand to the next level.

We expect you to bring a transformative vision and hands-on leadership to elevate Gymnation’s marketing and growth, and to build the next D2C success story.

🔥 Your role at the core

As Head of Brand & Marketing, you own Gymnation’s entire marketing function – from strategy to execution, from brand to growth, and from team leadership to measurable results. This is a role for someone who wants to build, lead, and make a real impact.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building and executing a scalable, high-performing, multi-channel marketing strategy in Finland
  • Concepting and scaling the Gymnation 2.0 international marketing strategy into selected target markets
  • Designing and implementing effective marketing processes, structures, and operating models
  • Defining, tracking, and continuously developing key performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Marketing budgeting, performance tracking, and efficient resource allocation
  • Leading, coaching, and developing the marketing team
  • Driving hands-on execution of marketing plans together with the team
  • Owning the brand and content strategy: campaigns, launches, shoots, and visual direction
  • Strengthening Gymnation’s brand perception and desirability in a highly competitive training apparel and lifestyle market

The role combines leadership and hands-on execution. As the company grows, the marketing team will grow as well, and the role will evolve based on your core strengths.

👥 Your marketing team

You will lead a team of strong professionals:

  • A Shopify, Klaviyo & Paid Ads specialist, responsible for e-commerce operations, marketing automation, and data-driven performance marketing
  • A Social Media & Athlete/Influencer Marketing Lead, driving brand visibility, community growth, and day-to-day hands-on content execution
  • A B2B Sales & Events Lead, responsible for B2B partnerships, B2B sales, and events (a new role currently open)

Your mission is to bring clear strategic direction, strong structures, and decisive leadership around this team, ensuring marketing drives business growth as effectively as possible.

We expect you to have:

  • A bold and creative mindset & skills to build a distinctive and desirable brand

B2B Sales & Events Lead

Alongside our D2C growth, B2B sales, partnerships, and events are a key growth channel for us — driving revenue, brand visibility, and long-term relationships. We’re now looking for a B2B Sales & Events Lead — a hands-on, sales-driven professional who enjoys being on the front line, building relationships, and closing deals through events and partnerships.

Our expectation is clear: scale B2B sales fast, build a strong and influential partner network, and use events as a growth engine for both revenue and brand awareness.

🔥 Your role at the core

In this role, you will be responsible for executing and developing Gymnation’s B2B sales and event-driven sales activities and turning opportunities into measurable commercial results.

Initially, you will have end-to-end responsibility for B2B sales and its development in Finland and selected international markets. As the business grows, our plan is to build a network of regional sales representatives to support your work — giving you the opportunity to grow your scope, impact, and leadership responsibility over time.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning, organizing, and running sales events (trade fairs, pop-ups, brand activations, and other sales-focused events)
  • Developing and growing existing B2B partnerships and accounts with a clear sales focus
  • Actively identifying and contacting new potential B2B partners (outbound sales)
  • Presenting and selling Gymnation products and partnerships to B2B partners and corporate customers
  • Develop and maintain B2B sales tools, such as B2B eCommerce and group ordering solutions
  • Negotiating terms and closing B2B sales and partnership agreements
  • Supporting and managing selected strategic resellers
  • Ensuring events and partnerships deliver clear commercial results, not just visibility
  • Working closely with marketing and brand teams to align sales activities with campaigns
  • Traveling regularly to meet partners and attend events, including working weekends when required

This is a hands-on execution role with clear ownership of results and a defined growth path as the B2B organization scales.

👤 Who succeeds in this role?

You are sales-driven, target-oriented, and motivated by results. You are comfortable taking initiative, starting conversations, and pushing opportunities forward until a deal is closed.

We expect you to have:

  • Experience or strong interest in B2B sales, events, partnerships, or field sales
  • A clear sales mindset and comfort working with targets and KPIs
  • The ability and confidence to reach out to new customers, present solutions clearly, and close deals
  • Experience organizing or participating in events, fairs, or sales activations
  • Willingness to travel and work flexibly, including weekends
  • You own a car and are able to move independently and flexibly
  • A proactive, independent, and action-oriented way of working
  • Interest in sports, training, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus
